How Much Is Tuition for Cosmetology School?
Tuition is one of three parts of the price. At Hays Academy, cosmetology tuition is $16,000. The $100 registration payment holds your seat, and $2,800 covers the books, kit and equipment you train with: Pivot Point textbooks and study materials, a professional Dermalogica skin-care kit, and your working tools. The kit is included in the published price, and there is a documented opt-out policy if you would rather source your own.
How Much Is the Nail Tech Program?
The nail technology program is $4,595 in total: $100 registration, $900 for books, kit and equipment, and $3,595 tuition. The Nail Technology program does not qualify for financial aid.
Financial Aid Is Available to Those Who Qualify
Federal aid is available to those who qualify. For the cosmetology program, filling out the FAFSA can help determine eligibility for Pell Grants and other types of federal loans. Use Federal School Code 015944 for the Hays campus or E02178 for the Salina campus. FAFSA processing takes about 2–3 weeks to reach the school; the school then contacts you about eligibility.
