The full breakdown
Small programs produce noisy percentages, so read the nail-technology rows with cohort size in mind: when a graduating class is only a handful of students, one graduate's path — moving towns, pausing work — swings the rate by tens of points. We publish the numbers anyway.

Professional licensure disclosure
Both programs are designed to meet the educational requirements for licensure by the Kansas Board of Cosmetology — 1,500 clock hours for cosmetology and 350 clock hours for nail technology, with written and practical examinations administered through Ergometrics ($75 each, 75% required to pass).
Planning to practice outside Kansas? Hours and exam requirements differ by state, and we have not determined whether our programs meet the licensure requirements of states other than Kansas. Contact the cosmetology board in the state where you intend to work before enrolling — and ask us about hour transfers; Hays Academy accepts up to 1,000 transferred hours inbound.

Who checks our work
Nationally accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS). Accreditation is what enables federal financial aid — and what requires the annual outcome reporting above.
Licensed by the Kansas Board of Cosmetology, which maintains the public list of licensed Kansas schools and administers the licensure requirements for both programs.
